Sign your lease

Read and sign your lease online with your own private link, by typing or drawing your signature.

Updated October 11, 2026

When your landlord sends a lease, every adult tenant gets an email with their own signing link. Other tenants and guarantors do not need an account to sign. The link is yours alone, so do not forward it.

If you have an account, the lease also appears in My home with Review and sign.

Sign in three steps

  1. 1Agree: read the agreement to sign and receive documents electronically. Select Open the lease PDF, find the code on its first page and enter it under Code from the first page of the lease PDF. This shows you can open and save the document. Tick the box and select Agree and continue.
  2. 2Read: read the whole lease, to the end, then select Continue to sign.
  3. 3Sign: confirm each statement, then choose Type it to type your full name or Draw it to sign with your finger, a pen or the mouse. Select Sign lease.

The lease is complete once every tenant has signed and then your landlord countersigns. We email you the signed copy, with its certificate of completion, and you can select Download the signed lease at any time.

If something is wrong

Select Decline to sign and say why. Your landlord is told and can correct the lease and send it again. You may also ask to sign on paper.

If the link no longer works because the lease expired before it was signed, ask your landlord to send it again.
