Set your password from your invitation
When your landlord adds your lease to Holuway, you get an email to set a password, then you sign in to see your lease and pay rent.
When your landlord records your current lease on Holuway and you do not have an account yet, we email you that your lease is now on Holuway. Your lease and its terms stay as they are. The email lets you set a password for the account made for you.
Set your password
- Step 1Open Set your password in the email. The link works for 14 days.
- Step 2Under New password, type a password of 10 to 72 characters that is not a common one. The list under the field shows what is still missing.
- Step 3Select Save password. You see Password updated.
- Step 4Select Sign in and sign in with your email and new password. Your dashboard opens, with your lease in My home.
If you already had a Holuway account with that email, you get a different email that asks you to confirm the lease is yours: see Accept a lease your landlord recorded.
If the link has expired
Invitation links expire after 14 days, and stop working once a password is set. On the page that says This link has expired, select Request a new link to get a password reset email at the same address, or ask your landlord to send the invitation again.
Your resident portal, if your property has one, uses this same account: see Open your resident portal.
